Paying money in
You can pay in up to the maximum of £250 every calendar month and earn interest on this.
The balance you can earn interest on increases each month by £250. So, if you don’t manage to save your full £250 in any month, you can pay more in the next or future months. The maximum balance you can earn interest on at the end of the 12-month fixed term is £3,000.
Interest payments added directly to your account will not be counted towards the monthly £250 limit.
You can save more than £250 each month but will not earn interest on anything over the cumulative monthly deposit limit.
For example:
You save | We pay | Cumulative monthly deposit limit This does not include any interest we've directly added to your account |
---|---|---|
1st month you save £250 | Account balance is £250. You will earn interest on this full amount. | £250 |
2nd month you save a further £200 | Account balance is £450. You will earn interest on this full amount. | £500 |
3rd month you save a further £300 | Account balance is £750. You have saved up to the maximum monthly limit and will earn interest on this full amount. | £750 |
4th month you save a further £300 | Account balance is £1,050. You have exceeded the maximum cumulative monthly limit by £50 and will only earn interest on the additional £250 saved this month. | £1,000 |

My account online
This product is available exclusively for customers who hold certain current accounts with us. This means that they have different login details to some of our other Virgin Money savings accounts.
By using the new details, you’ll be able to see the Virgin Money current account you opened on or after 4 December 2019 (or originally opened with Clydesdale / Yorkshire Bank) alongside this Regular Saver Exclusive.
As we’re currently bringing together Yorkshire Bank, Clydesdale Bank and Virgin Money to create one bigger and brighter bank, we don’t have all our products on the same system just yet. This means you won’t be able to see some other savings accounts you hold with Virgin Money alongside your Current Account and Regular Saver Exclusive right now.
My statement
We have rounded up the maximum interest amount to the nearest £1.

Check the summary box for the fixed end date for this product.
Rate changes
