Information collected from individuals includes—fundraisers, donors, and charity representatives—who previously registered or engaged with Virgin Money Giving.
For donors and fundraisers, we hold personal information such as name, address, and email. We may also have special categories of information (like race, religion, or health) if individuals chose to include this on their fundraising pages.
For charity representatives, we hold details about you and your charity, including your name, date of birth, address, contact information, and identification (e.g., passport or driving license) and financial information, such as income, bank details, and transaction history with us and other organisations.
The information we hold will be retained in accordance with our legal and regulatory obligation to maintain records of our relationship and transactions for the purposes of preventing, detecting and prosecuting financial crime and the funding of terrorism. We retain information no longer than is necessary and in line with our legal and regulatory obligations to maintain records of our relationships and transactions.
