If you are struggling financially due to the impact of the cost of living crisis, Virgin Money can defer your monthly premiums for up to 3 months. This means that the policy remains in place, but no payments are due during this period. You will need to repay these missed premiums after your deferral ends, but this is a short-term measure to ease financial burden whilst importantly, keeping your life insurance in place for you and your family. If you do let your policy lapse (cease to pay the premiums due) you’re able to re-instate the cover with no changes in premium within a 3-month period. This ensures that you and your family have continuity of cover in place and with no additional cost. If you wish to reinstate a lapsed policy, give our team a call on 0800 294 7575.
Please be aware that reinstatement is only available if the policy lapsed within 3 months and premiums must be brought up to date to maintain continuity of cover. Reinstatement is available upon request providing the policy hasn’t lapsed previously.
