If you have to cancel or cut your trip short for one of the reasons specified in the policy wording then we will pay up to the policy limit for travel and accommodation you don't use and can't claim back directly.
Close baggage help - closes new window We will pay up to the amount specified if your baggage or personal belongings are lost, damaged or stolen. Please note, we will take wear and tear and the decrease in value over time into account when we value your claim.
If you select double excess, the price of your policy will reduce but if you make a claim, the excess you will have to pay will be double the standard amount.
If you select excess waiver, the price of your policy will go up but if you make a claim, you won't have to pay an excess. Note: even if you select the excess waiver, you may still have to pay an increased medical excess if you claim because of a declared medical condition or sports / leisure activity.
You can change your excess level when you get a quote.
The excess applies to each person claiming, to each incident and to each section of the policy.
