Who the appointments are for

You don’t need to have a diagnosis of dementia or be a Virgin Money customer.

You can book an appointment if you’re:

  • living with dementia
  • worried about changes in your memory or thinking
  • supporting someone affected by dementia

You can come on your own or bring someone with you for support.

What happens at your appointment

Your 45-minute appointment takes place in a quiet, private space.

You’ll speak to a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse from Dementia UK. They’ll listen to your concerns, answer your questions and help you consider your next steps.

You can talk about anything concerning you about dementia, including:

  • changes in memory, thinking, behaviour or communication
  • getting or understanding a dementia diagnosis
  • caring for someone living with dementia
  • planning for future care
  • where to get financial or legal support
  • coping with difficult feelings

Your appointment is confidential. Virgin Money colleagues will not be told what you discuss.

Admiral Nurses can’t diagnose dementia or provide medical treatment. Please also speak to your GP if you’re worried about changes in your memory or thinking, or need medical advice.
