Support in Branch
When you visit us, we’ll make sure you can get the support you need:
- You’re welcome to bring someone with you, and assistance dogs are always allowed.
- If you’d like extra time or a quieter space, ask a colleague.
- We can write things down so you have a record to take away.
- Our Speak Easy cards use simple words and pictures, so you can point to what you need without having to say it.
If you’d like to plan ahead, you can book an appointment in advance.
Using cash machines
Most of our cash machines are installed at a height suitable for wheelchair users.
For extra support, you can:
- Plug in headphones to be guided through each step
- Use the raised dot on the number 5 key to find your way around the keypad
- Use our branch finder and filter by “Audio ATM” to see which machines support headphones
If you have any problems, our colleagues are there to help.
Making documents accessible
We can send letters and statements in a format that works for you, including:
- Braille
- Large print
- Audio CD
- Coloured paper
We can also provide a magnifier or a signature stamp if you need one.
Using a screen reader
Our website and apps work with all major screen readers. If you have any issues, let us know.
