When that's done, we'll do some checks and send you an email within 14 days with a reward code, and instructions on how to redeem your reward.

Before you start your application online we'll ask you to choose the reward you'll enjoy most. We'll show you some important information about the account you're applying for, then when you're ready to apply we'll ask you to choose either Virgin Wines or Virgin Experience Days. In some scenarios we may email you once your account is open and ask you to provide us with your reward choice. We'll send this to the email address you provide us when you apply.

Once you've selected your reward choice, this can't be changed. Make sure you take a look at the detail on each reward before making your choice. We've also got some FAQs to help explain how each reward works.

This offer is subject to availability. Just so you know, we can remove the offer at any time without notice, however we'll try to give you notice if we can. If you apply while this offer is still available and everything checks out, you'll be accepted. Or if we withdraw the offer when you're in the middle of meeting all of the conditions, you'll still qualify. You can do this straight away when you apply online, once your account is open you'll be presented with the option to give us your switch instruction. On the other hand, if you want to come back and do this later there's a few options available to you. The simplest way to complete the CASS switch is online. Sign-in, pick up your original application, and provide us with your existing bank details. Once you submit your online form, the rest is over to us. Remember to select a switch complete date that's within 45 days of your account opening date in order to qualify.

If you have any active Direct Debits on your existing current account, they will be automatically transferred across to your new Virgin Money current account when you switch to us. Don't worry, if you don't have any Direct Debits set up on your old account, you can set them up once your account is open. Remember to set them up within 45 days of your account opening date and keep them active until we send you your reward code.

In order to qualify for the incentive, you must download and log in to our mobile banking app. There are some fantastic features within the mobile app that will help make day to day banking easier, plus access to other Exclusive Rewards.

How to Claim

When that's done, we'll send you an email within 14 days with a Gift Card number and PIN, and instructions on how to choose your hotel stay, day out or experience with Virgin Experience Days.

Keep an eye on your inbox, but it might take up to 14 days for this to reach you. All you have to do is select the link in the email to start browsing - you can use your gift card to spend on a hotel stay, a day out or any experience on www.virginexperiencedays.co.uk - there's something there for everyone! Your Gift Card is valid until 17 October 2022, and once you've chosen your experience, you'll have a further time (typically 9 months) to actually book your experience.

Receiving the code

Your gift card is valid until 17 October 2022, and you have until then to choose your experience, and use your gift card as payment at the checkout. Once you've chosen your experience you have further time (typically 9 months) to book the experience with the provider. You can check the exact time by clicking the 'additional details' tab for any experiences you're interested in.

Your gift card number is contained in the email we send you when you qualify for the incentive, so make sure you keep hold of it! If you lose your Gift Card number, you can contact us at Virgin Money and we will provide you with the Gift Card number and PIN (Virgin Experience Days won't be able to help you with that). Once you book your experience you will be issued with a voucher for your chosen experience, which will be sent to you via email from Virgin Experience Days. Redeeming the code

Once you've qualified for the offer you will be sent a Gift Card number and a 4 digit PIN. Select the link in the email to browse the experiences at www.virginexperiencedays.co.uk - there's something there for everyone! Once you've made your choice, you can enter your gift card number and 4 digit PIN at the checkout, using the 'add a gift card' link. You can choose to use all of the balance, some of the balance or top up the value to create a higher value experience.

No problem, you can pay using more than one payment method - and can top up your £150 Gift Card balance if you'd like to purchase a higher value experience.

No problem, any balance left over from your first purchase will remain on the card for you to choose something else! You can spend this at another time on any experience on the Virgin Experience Days website - just make sure you spend it all by 17 October 2022!

Booking the experience

Once you've chosen your experience and used your Gift Card number and PIN to pay, Virgin Experience Days will email you with confirmation and instructions on how to book your location, date and time. You typically have 9 months to book in but each experience is different, so follow the instructions and then get ready to enjoy!

Yes, don't worry. Once you've booked your experience, you still have the opportunity to exchange it for something else - just visit My Voucher Link opens in a new window on the Virgin Experience Days website.

You have until 17 October 2022 to use your Gift Card, and once you've chosen your experience, you have a further time to book. This is typically 9 months but can vary, so check the 'additional details' tab on the experience you want to book. When you spend your Gift Card you'll be sent a confirmation email with information on how to book your experience.

M Plus Account and Club M Account Switching Offer effective from 20.10.21

Who can take up this offer?

  • New M Plus Account and Club M Account customers who:
    • are 18+;
    • are resident in the UK;
    • don’t already have a Virgin Money personal current account, and haven’t closed one recently (since 30 July 2021); and
    • haven’t previously taken up a Brighter Money Bundle or Virgin Red Points offer for switching to Virgin Money.

How do you take up this offer?

  • Apply online for our M Plus or Club M Account.
    • You won’t be able to take up this offer if we need to decline your application. This could happen for example, if you aren’t eligible due to your financial circumstances. This includes where we offer you the M Account instead of the M Plus or Club M Account.
  • Once your new current account is open, you must complete the following steps within 45 days of your account opening date.
    1. Fully switch your existing current account to us using the 'Current Account Switch Service', with at least two direct debits.
      • A full switch means that all your regular outgoing payments from your existing current account will be transferred to your new current account and your existing account will be closed on the date you select to switch. Note, this doesn't include any recurring payments set up on your old debit card, such as film and music streaming subscriptions.
      • As part of the switch any direct debits will be transferred to your new account for you. If you don’t have two direct debits you can set these up as soon as your account is open.
      • If you are switching from a joint account, you’ll need to make sure both account holders agree to a full switch.

    2. Download and login to the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app. You can do this as soon as your account is open.
    3. Both our M Plus and Club M Accounts come with a linked savings account. You must pay in at least £1,000 into your linked M Plus Saver or Club M Saver, and keep this in your account until we send you your reward email.

  • Before you start your application online, we will ask you to choose the reward that you’ll enjoy most.
  • In some cases we may need to e-mail you once your account is open and ask you to confirm your reward choice. If we don’t e-mail you, there’s no need to do anything further. If we do, you just need to confirm your choice again, we’ll explain how to do this when we e-mail you. If you don’t confirm your choice before meeting the offer conditions, we will allocate you the Virgin Experience Days gift card.

Virgin Experience Days reward

  • You can redeem your gift card on the Virgin Experience website up until 17 October 2022. You just need to order your chosen experience (or experiences) by then. Once you’ve done that, you will have further time (typically a further 9 months) to actually book your slot for experiences. Virgin Wines reward
  • We’ll send you an e-mail with a redemption code within 14 days of you meeting the offer conditions. We’ll send your code to the e-mail you gave during your account application. The e-mail will provide instructions on how to redeem your wine through the Virgin Wines website.
  • There are 12x 750ml bottles in the case.
  • If you’d prefer to receive a case of non-alcoholic wine, you can select that option with Virgin Wines instead. The non-alcoholic case is worth £75, rather than £150.
  • If Virgin Wines are “out of stock” on any of the wines, you’ll get an alternative wine of equal or higher value.
  • Your redemption code can be used until 17 October 2022. Make sure to redeem your Virgin Wine before then.

When can you take up the offer?

  • The offer will be available on an ongoing basis until we withdraw it. We can withdraw the offer without giving you any advance notice, but we’ll try to give some notice if we can.
  • The offer is subject to availability. This means we will definitely withdraw it when we’ve used up our stock of rewards.
  • You don’t need to worry if we withdraw the offer when you’re part way through meeting the offer conditions. As long as you’d submitted your account application before we withdraw the offer, you can still qualify. You’ll just need to continue to meet the rest of the conditions.

What else do you need to know?

  • You can only benefit from this offer once. If you are a joint account holder, you can only take part once between you and your joint account holder.
  • Applications for the M Plus Account and Club M Account are subject to status and eligibility criteria.
  • We’ll use your personal information to help us run the offer.
  • English law applies to the offer.
  • If something goes wrong, we’ll try to fix it. If we can’t because it’s something we can’t control, or it’s not our fault, then we may have to change the offer.
