Earn enough points, and you’ll glide up to sparkling Silver or glittering Gold, and be able to enjoy all the fabulous extra benefits below when you make over £10,000 of eligible spends in a 12-month period on your Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card, or £20,000 of eligible spends in a 12-month period on your Virgin Atlantic Reward Credit Card.

You will receive your reward as soon as you hit your spend target*. Your spend will reset on every 12-month anniversary, ready for you to start your journey toward even more rewards. Your credit card rewards are valid for 24 months, so make sure you don’t miss out and make your bookings in that time.

*Additional spend over and above the target will not count toward the following year.

One of the only things better than discovering new destinations is discovering them with a friend. And one of the ways you can use your credit card reward is to get a companion ticket, so when you use your points to buy a reward flight, you can bring a friend along for free **.

There are three types of companion ticket, and the one you earn depends on your Flying Club membership tier. If you’re a Red tier member you’ll be rewarded with an Economy companion ticket. If you’ve worked your way up to Silver you can use your companion ticket in Economy or Premium, and if you’re flying high as a Gold member, you can take your companion in any cabin, including Upper Class.

Prefer to travel alone and want to treat yourself to an upgrade? No problem. You can spend your Virgin Points on an Economy reward flight and then redeem your credit card reward on a Premium upgrade. So you’ll be able to enjoy extra space, welcome bubbly and lots of lovely extras, without spending anymore of your Virgin Points.

Alternatively, if you’re a Silver member you can use your credit card reward to get a Clubhouse pass. Gold members can use their credit card reward to get two additional passes.

You can use your points to pay less money for your next Virgin Atlantic flight. With as little as 3,000 points, you can reduce the cost of your flight and still earn points and tier points on your discounted journey. Travelling Upper Class? You can use your points to book a chauffeur driven car pick up and start relaxing as soon as your journey begins.

    • One Clubhouse pass allowing access to our London Heathrow or London Gatwick Clubhouse when flying with Virgin Atlantic. Each pass provides access to one person on one occasion. No additional guests can be permitted.
