Cybersave accounts are for people aged up to 16. As it’s almost your 17th birthday it’s time to think about what you want to do next.

We offer various products that you might wish to consider such as savings or current accounts and depending on what you would like to do with your money.

If, having looked at your options, you decide to transfer to an Instant Savings Account or a Virgin Money M Plus Account, you can do this online.

Bear in mind

If you don’t do anything before you turn 17, as explained in your Terms we’ll automatically transfer your Cybersave Account to an Instant Saving Account. Before you can start to access your new account, we’ll need to see your up-to-date ID and if there is still an adult in control of the account we will also need to see the signed transfer of authority form.

Closing your account

Of course, your Cybersave account can be closed at any time. If you are already operating your account and wish to close it, you can contact us yourself. If there is an adult in charge of your account, they will need come into the nearest branch with ID or if they agree they could first transfer the operation of the account to you - they’ll just need to let us know.
