How do I transfer out?

It’s straightforward. All you have to do is give your new provider the transfer details and they’ll deal directly with us.

We’ll transfer your investments in cash, so your current investments will be sold. You’ll be out of the market until your transfer completes. This means you won’t lose out if markets fall, but you also won’t benefit if markets rise.

Just so you know, transferring between providers can take several weeks to a month or so. If your transfer is processed online it’ll usually be quicker. If your new provider manages transfers by post it’s likely to take longer.
