What is investment risk appetite?

Investment risk appetite is the level of risk you're willing to accept when you're making an investment.

We measure risk by looking at how volatile an investment could be, which means how many ups and downs are likely as its value changes. More risky investments are more volatile, but have greater potential to grow.
