Green Reward is now closed for new registrations
The Green Reward offer closed for new registrations on 30 June 2025.
If you registered before this date, you may still be eligible to claim your £250 cashback — just make sure to submit your claim and supporting evidence by 31 December 2025.
What was Green Reward?
Green Reward was our way of saying thank you to customers who made their homes more energy efficient. If you borrowed more on your Virgin Money mortgage and invested in eligible green home improvements, you could claim £250 cashback.
Who qualified?
To be eligible for the cashback, customers had to meet all of the following criteria:
Applied for additional borrowing
Applied directly or with a mortgage broker for additional borrowing on their Virgin Money residential or buy-to-let mortgage between 1 October 2022 and 31 May 2025.
Spent at least £2,500 on qualifying green home improvements
Registered for the cashback by 30 June 2025
Claim your £250 by 31 December 2025
Claims must be submitted and evidence provided (such as receipts or invoices) by 31 December 2025.

This offer excludes all sprayed polyurethane loft foam insulation, which is outside our lending policy
