You’re the best defence. Here’s how to stay secure:
- Report a lost or stolen card straight away so we can block it
- Turn on payment and transaction alerts in the Virgin Money app
- Check your statements regularly for anything unusual
- Never share your PIN with anyone
- Only enter card details on secure websites (look for https and the padlock symbol)
- Avoid entering card details on websites you don’t recognise
- Use strong, unique passwords for your online accounts
- Be cautious of unexpected messages asking you to confirm payment details
