Transfer an ISA

That's great, you'd like to transfer into a Virgin Money ISA online.

• 1. Sign into your Virgin Money account

  These are the sign in details you created when you opened your ISA.

• 2. My Accounts

  Choose the ISA you want to transfer your money into and select 'View account'

• 3. Make a deposit

  • Select 'Pay money in' and 'Make a deposit'
  • Under the headline 'Transfer an ISA' open the 'Online ISA transfer form'

• 4. Choose Virgin Money as the ISA provider you're transferring from in the drop down

  Check the sort code on the Virgin Money ISA you're transferring from. In the drop down choose Virgin Money sort code starting with 05 or Virgin Money sort code starting with 82.

• 5. Complete the form

  You'll need:

  • Your National Insurance number
  • The sort code and account number for the ISA you're transferring from

• 6. Select how much you’d like to transfer

  This could be:

  • The whole balance
  • Money you've paid into the ISA in this tax year*
  • Part of the balance

• *If you are transferring an ISA from the current year, you must transfer the whole amount.

• 7. Sit back and relax

  We aim to complete all ISA transfers in 15 working days or less. If it takes us a little longer than that, we'll backdate the interest to day 15.
