How to report suspicious emails
Did you get a suspicious email claiming to be from Virgin Money?
- Don’t reply and forward it to us at report.phishing@virginmoney.com
- Don’t include any personal information
- Never click on links or open attachments
We won’t reply, but we investigate all reports and share them with trusted partners who help remove fraudulent websites.

How to report suspicious text messages
Did you get a suspicious text message?
- Don’t reply or open any links or attachments
- Forward the text to 7726 (National Cyber Security Centre). This is free.
- Don’t include any personal information
- Block the number

- We’ll never ask you to move money to a "safe account"
- We’ll never ask for your full PIN or one-time passcodes
- Scammers often pressure you to act quickly - stop and speak to us first

How to report to the authorities
Reporting the scam can help stop it happening to other people. This is separate from contacting us and does not replace it.

If you’re in Scotland, report the scam to Police Scotland by calling 101.
