To get the points, you’ll need to join Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club and link your membership number to your new credit card. When you sign up for Flying Club, you’ll also join Virgin Red, the rewards club from Virgin. Membership of Virgin Red is needed to use your Virgin Points.

To benefit from the points earned on either the Virgin Atlantic Reward Credit Card or Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card, you need to be a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and link your membership number to your credit card. Join Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

* The points you can earn each month are capped based on your credit limit. For example, if your credit limit is £5,000, you'll earn points on the first £5,000 of card purchases in a month. If you spend more than that, then you won't earn points on any additional spending. We'll reset the counter every month on the date of your credit card statement. The cap doesn't apply to bonus points. You'll only earn double points when you spend directly with Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays. We'll add your points to your Flying Club account every month within 5 days of your credit card statement. Virgin Points is the rewards currency provided by the Virgin Group rewards programme and managed by Virgin Red. A Virgin Red membership is required to redeem Virgin Points.
