Here's how it works

  3. Make a purchase within the first 90 days to get the points (no minimum spend required)

To get the points, you’ll need to join Virgin Atlantic’ Flying Club and link your membership number to your new Reward Credit Card. When you sign up for Flying Club, you’ll also join Virgin Red, the rewards club from Virgin. Membership of Virgin Red is needed to use your Virgin Points.

To benefit from the points earned on either the Virgin Atlantic Reward Credit Card or Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card, you need to be a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and link your membership number to your credit card. Join Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

* The points you can earn each month are capped based on your credit limit. For example, if your credit limit is £5,000, you'll earn points on the first £5,000 of card purchases in a month. If you spend more than that, then you won't earn points on any additional spending. We'll reset the counter every month on the date of your credit card statement. The cap doesn't apply to bonus points. You'll only earn double points when you spend directly with Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays. We'll add your points to your Flying Club account every month within 5 days of your credit card statement. Virgin Points is the rewards currency provided by the Virgin Group rewards programme and managed by Virgin Red. A Virgin Red membership is required to redeem Virgin Points. You can take up this offer if you have one of these Virgin Money Current Accounts: M Current Account, M Plus Current Account, Club M Current Account, Private Current Account, Current Account Tracker or Current Account Control. You can still take up the offer if you already have a Virgin Money Credit Card, unless it's the Virgin Atlantic Reward Credit Card or a Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card.

You’ll need to make your minimum payment when it’s due. If we do not receive the minimum payment when it’s due, or you go over your credit limit, we will withdraw the promotional rate with effect from the start of that statement period.

When a promotional rate ends or is withdrawn, we charge the current standard interest rate that applies to that transaction.

You will not be able to transfer a balance from another Virgin Money, Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank or B credit card and should not use your card to repay other borrowing from Clydesdale Bank plc.

Credit is available, subject to status, only to UK residents aged 18 or over.

When you apply for a credit card, we check your credit report to ensure we are lending responsibly. This check stays on your credit report. It may be used by other providers to decide whether to offer you their lending products.
