It pays to be a Virgin Money customer. This summer, we were the bank that brought live music back with the Virgin Money Unity Arena, the world’s first socially-distanced live music venue. And it gave us the chance to reward some of our amazing Virgin Money customers with exclusive perks and VIP experiences.
Across the six weeks the venue was open, we hosted almost 500 Virgin Money customers and their guests over 19 shows. Our customers had red-hot tickets to the best seats at the venue – socially distanced platforms front and centre - and were able to enjoy food and drinks in designer glass pods, and goodie bags of branded goodies at the exclusive Virgin Money VIP area to make sure they had an unbeatable experience.
How did these lucky people get rewarded like this? In some cases, they were unsuspecting customers in Stores close to the venue location who we decided to surprise and delight with tickets when they came in. Some were our followers on social media Link opens in a new window, some were competition winners, some were users of our business banking services Link opens in a new window.
But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what some of our customers had to say: “It was an amazing experience and a great way to attend a gig,” said Simon. “We were front row centre and literally in front of the mic. I'm not sure slumming it in tent at Glastonbury will ever be the same again!”
“A big thank you for a great night at the Van Morrison live show,” said Malcolm and Sylvia. “The treatment we received was first class – from arriving to leaving, I felt like a celebrity. The show was fantastic. We were right at the front! We could not have asked for more. It was a fabulous night; the weather was good, and the music was great.”
“A massive thank you for the amazing experience we had at Tom Grennan,” said Angie. “The whole night was brilliant, the VIP pods were fantastic and all the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. The whole experience made me feel safe and it was great to hear live music again. I cannot thank you enough – we had a ball!!”
There are plenty of other rewards coming very soon. So, what are you waiting for? Get access to some exciting, money can’t buy rewards and experiences, become a Virgin Money customer today Link opens in a new window. Or, follow us on social media Link opens in a new window.
