This is my first issue as Editor, so a huge hello and welcome to old and new readers alike. This month we’re thinking about summer by helping you prepare for your holidays.
Independent financial expert Harvey Jones helps a family plan an affordable summer break, and in the first of a two part series, we take a look at a few items that we think you shouldn’t have to pay full price for, including holidays.
We show you five top shopping destinations, both at home and abroad. We also want to hear your holiday hints and tips, which we’ll use in a future issue. We’ll pay £100 for the star tip, and £50 for all the others we publish.
It can’t have escaped readers’ attention that April saw the third annual Virgin London Marathon, which raised millions for good causes all over the world through our not-for-profit site Virgin Money Giving. Why not check out our slideshow for highlights of the day?
Elsewhere in this month’s issue, we look forward to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with our street party ideas, and Tony Hazell reassures us there is good news on the economic horizon, despite the recession.
If you like what you read, make sure you let us know, but more importantly, sign up for our monthly email alerts so you don’t miss out on future articles.
