This is my first issue as Editor, so a huge hello and welcome to old and new readers alike. This month we’re thinking about summer by helping you prepare for your holidays.

We show you five top shopping destinations, both at home and abroad. We also want to hear your holiday hints and tips, which we’ll use in a future issue. We’ll pay £100 for the star tip, and £50 for all the others we publish.
It can’t have escaped readers’ attention that April saw the third annual Virgin London Marathon, which raised millions for good causes all over the world through our not-for-profit site Virgin Money Giving. Why not check out our slideshow for highlights of the day?
