What you need to know

After a review of how customers are using our Stores, we’ve made the difficult decision to close some of our Stores from January 2022. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and want to make sure you know about all the other ways you can bank with us.

Your account details will stay the same and there are no changes to the way our accounts work. You’ll be able to visit any of our other Virgin Money Stores, including those in all major cities across the country, where our friendly colleagues will do everything they can to help. You can also visit your local Post Office, which can help with a range of banking services.

Our mobile banking app is a quick and safe way to manage your money. From checking your balance to paying in a cheque, our super-smart app is packed full of clever tools to help with your day to day banking. We’re working on some brilliant new features too.

Our Store team will be happy to show you how easy banking online or with our app can be and can help you set up internet banking or answer any other digital questions.

If you have items with us in safe custody

If you have items with us in safe custody, they’ll need to be collected before 17 December 2021 as this service won’t be available in your new nearest Store. If this isn’t possible, let us know and we’ll try and sort something out. If you have any questions, speak to our Store team or give us a call on 0800 121 7365. We’ll do everything we can to help.

Why we’ve decided to close these Stores

To make sure we’ve got a bigger and brighter bank that’s built for the future, it makes sense for us to spend money improving the ways to bank that our customers are choosing to use.
