What does it cost?
The table below shows the costs for the two tariffs we offer. If you plan to use your card a fair amount, our 'Pay monthly' tariff might be best. Otherwise, our 'Pay as you go' option could be the one for you. See examples.
If you find you are using your card a lot more or a bit less than you thought, you can switch tariff, for free, once every four months.

What else you need to know
When you apply for your Virgin Prepaid MasterCard we verify your identity against the information you've given us, so we know it's you. In most cases, this will go through automatically and we'll get a card to you within 7-10 days.
If we’re unable to do this automatically we’ll ask you to send us documents to confirm your identity. Depending on the information you provide, we may issue you with a restricted or an unrestricted card. If we can’t verify your identity, we may be unable to send you a card.
