Virgin Wines - (Switch offer) Terms

  1. Who can take up this offer?

    New Virgin Money current account customers who:

    • are 18+;
    • are resident in the UK;
    • don’t already have a Virgin Money, B, Clydesdale Bank or Yorkshire Bank current account; and
    • haven’t held a Virgin Money, B, Clydesdale Bank or Yorkshire Bank current account since 30 September 2020.
  2. How do you take up this offer?

    Apply online for our Virgin Money Current Account.

    • You won’t be able to take up this offer if we need to decline your application. This could happen for example, if you aren’t eligible due to your financial circumstances. This includes where we offer you the M account instead of the Virgin Money Current Account

    Complete a full bank account switch using the 'Current Account Switch Service'.

    • As part of your switch, you’ll need to transfer all active credit and debits from the account you hold with another bank or building society.
    • You’ll need to give an account closure instruction for that account.
    • If you are switching from a joint account, you’ll need to make sure both account holders agree to switch.
    • You can find out more about the 'Current Account Switch Service' process here.
    • Select a switch complete date that’s within 31 days of your account opening date.

    Transfer at least two direct debits to your new account. You can’t cancel them before we send your Virgin Wines offer code.

    Download and register for the Virgin Money Mobile Banking app. You can do this as soon as your account is open. You’ll need to do this within 31 days of your account opening date.

    Your Virgin Money Current Account comes with a linked savings account. You’ll need to credit this with at least £1,000 within 31 days of your account opening date. You need to keep at least £1,000 in your linked savings account until we send your Virgin Wines offer code.

  3. What is the offer?

    If you meet the offer conditions, we will give you a Virgin Wines promotional code worth £180. You can use the code to get a promotional case of pre-selected wines from our friends at www.virginwines.co.uk Link opens in a new window. Your offer code will be valid until 31 December 2021.

    We will send your code to the e-mail address you gave during your account application. We will do this within 31 days of you meeting all of the offer conditions.

    There are 15× 750ml bottles in the case.

    If you’d prefer to receive a case of non-alcoholic wine, you can select that option with Virgin Wines instead. The non-alcoholic case is worth £75, rather than £180.

    If Virgin Wines are “out of stock” on any of the wines, you’ll get an alternative wine of equal or higher value.

  4. When can you take up the offer?

    The offer will be available on an ongoing basis until we withdraw it. We can withdraw the offer without giving you any advance notice, but we’ll try to give some notice if we can.

    The offer is subject to availability. This means we will definitely withdraw the offer when the Virgin Wines promotional stock has been used up.

    You don’t need to worry if we withdraw the offer when you’re part way through meeting the conditions. If you submit your application before the offer is withdrawn, you will still qualify for the offer. You’ll just need to continue to meet the rest of the conditions.

  5. What else do you need to know?

    You can only benefit from this offer once. If you are a joint account holder, you can only take part once between you and your joint account holder.

    Applications for the Virgin Money Current Account are subject to status and eligibility criteria.

    We’ll use your personal information to help us run the offer.

    English law applies to the offer.

    If something goes wrong, we’ll try to fix it. If we can’t because it’s something we can’t control, or it’s not our fault, then we may have to change the offer. This includes suspending the offer or ending it early. We can make such changes without giving you notice. However, we’ll try our best to avoid making changes. And we’ll try to minimise any disappointment to you when we make changes.

Virgin Media - Terms

  1. Who can take up this offer?

    Our current account customers who:

    • are 18+;
    • are resident in the UK;

    You don’t need to switch a current account to us to take up this offer.

    We’re promoting this offer to new Virgin Money current account customers as part of our ‘Bundles’ campaign. However, the offer is also available to M, Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank current account customers. The same terms apply.

  2. How do you take up this offer?

    You can take up this offer through the Virgin Media tab on our My Virgin Money offers webpage

    If you already have a current account with us, just head to this webpage to access the offer. We’ll link you to Virgin Media’s online sales portal from here.

    If you don’t already have a current account with us, you’ll need to apply for an account and be accepted first. You can apply here. You won’t be able to take up this offer if we need to decline your account application. This could happen, for example, if you aren’t eligible due to your circumstances.

  3. What is the offer?

    If you meet the offer conditions, we will give you access to discounts on a range of Virgin Media packages.

    You need to be a new Virgin Media customer to get the "up to £225 off" discount.

    If you’re already a Virgin Media customer, you can ask Virgin Media to call you back to discuss what savings they might be able to offer you instead.

    • You need to sign up to a minimum 18 month contract;
    • Prices may change during the contract;
    • Virgin Media offer a range of package deals. The discount varies for each package and the maximum discount is £225. You’ll be able to view the packages and discounts available through Virgin Media’s online sales portal.
    • You need to stay in an area serviced by Virgin Media; and
    • The discounts available through this offer are calculated in relation to Virgin Media’s widely available pricing.
