We recognise that the cashflow of your business may be disrupted in the current environment and we are committed to providing prompt and appropriate assistance to help support you whilst you implement your contingency plans. There are a number of things that you can do to prepare. Firstly, make sure you are able to access your internet banking and if you’ve forgotten your log on details please get in touch as soon as possible. If you have only one account signatory on your account, you could consider setting up alternate ‘user’ to allow them to manage your banking online if required. Our stores and lounges remain open and its business as usual for now. However, we're monitoring the situation closely and we'll update you if that changes. Supporting our customers and colleagues is our absolute priority and we're working hard to make sure we're here to help however the situation develops.

Fraudsters are exploiting the coronavirus situation to attempt a variety of scams and cybercrime. With remote working increasingly common, it may pay to remind your team about maintaining security as they would in the office environment and to remind them of what they should do to minimise risks of fraud and cybercrime. Your eligible deposits are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank and Virgin Money.

As of 22 June our DSAR team is once again operational following a brief pause as a result of the Coronavirus.
