South Korean airport 'best in the world'
Incheon Airport in Seoul, South Korea, has been named as the best airport in the world by the Airports Council International, The Daily Mail has reported.
The airport, featuring a garden, spa and mini-golf course, topped the list, which is based on passenger feedback, for the fifth year in a row.
Angela Gittens, ACI Director General, congratulated Incheon Airport on its achievement, adding "This record is no accident, nor for the others who year after year continue to receive top honours."
Asian airports dominated the entire top five, with Singapore’s Changi, Hong Kong, Beijing and India’s Hyderbad Rajiv Gandhi International Airports coming second, third, fourth and fifth.
And, despite costing £4.3 billion, London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 was not featured on the list.
