Women worried by men's wandering eyes
12/07/2010

While travel insurance will protect you from most mishaps suffered while on holiday, the fury of women (or men) scorned may be a step too far.
A new survey has revealed that almost a quarter of those in relationships eye up other people while on holiday.
And of the 24% who admitted ogling, nearly half were caught red-handed by their partner, according to the poll by travel agent www.sunshine.co.uk found.
Women were more concerned about men's wandering eyes than vice versa, with 68% admitting to often worrying about their partner eying other women on vacation.
But only 23% of men were worried about their female partners ogling men. Just 6% of the 1,582 people polled had no concerns at all in that area.
The survey also found that 7% had cheated on a partner, past or present, while on a trip abroad.
Chris Brown, co-founder of sunshine.co.uk, said: "While going away with a partner can be an incredible experience, there's always the danger that arguments will arise if someone in the relationship can't keep their eyes off someone other than their partner!
"It was a bit of a shock that almost a quarter admitted to ogling someone else while on holiday and clearly it's something that concerns a lot of people, especially women."
