Rainforest recreated in London

Those harbouring an ambition to visit the South American rainforest but lacking the funds to do so could be in luck, The Guardian has reported.
London Zoo’s newest exhibit, Rainforest Life, aims to recreate a “living rainforest”, featuring animals such as sloths, marmosets and titi monkeys, thus giving visitors a taste of South America without even leaving the UK.
Zoological director David Field commented, “Rainforest Life will transport people to other corners of the world by coming through the gates of London Zoo.
“It is a dynamic, living ecosystem and you won’t see the same exhibit twice.”
Rainforest Life took seven months to complete, at a cost of £400,000, and money raised from admission fees will go towards conservation programmes in the native countries of the animals.
Both domestic and long haul trips can be covered by a Virgin Money travel insurance policy.
