Holiday camps proving popular

Overseas beach resorts are being shunned in favour of the great British holiday camp, The Telegraph has reported.
Butlins has seen February half term bookings increase by 15 per cent compared to last year, while Pontins recorded a 22 per cent rise in summer break sales in January.
A Pontins spokesperson commented, "Given the recent weather conditions the UK has experienced and the economic climate, we believe the significant increase is down to families wanting to have something to look forward to and booking holidays and mini breaks."
Since 2003, Butlins has spent around £100 million upgrading its facilities, including the construction of a £2 million health spa at Bognor Regis.
It has also recruited a number of former X-Factor contestants to perform at its resorts, including Stacey Solomon and Danyl Johnson.
All types of holiday, both in the UK and overseas, can be covered by a Virgin Money travel insurance policy.
