Pay with a credit/debit card

If you’d like to pay by credit or debit card make sure you’ve got your card handy.

When you're asked for your payment, choose the credit / debit card option and enter your details. The £9.95 fee will be charged to your account.

Your credit/debit card billing address must match the address you provide in your application.

Pay by text message

To pay by text message, follow these simple steps:

1. Text VIRGIN to 82023.
2. Within a few seconds you will receive a text message with a unique 8-digit voucher number.
3. Apply for your card online and when you reach the payment page, select the SMS Voucher option and enter the 8 digit voucher number you received by text.

If you choose to pay for your card by text message, £5 of the card fee will be charged to your monthly mobile phone bill. If you have a pay as you go mobile phone, £5 will be taken off your balance. When you've got money in your prepaid card account, the remaining £4.95 of the card fee will be taken from your balance. Please note, you can only apply for one card per mobile phone number.

Pay with cash

If you’d like to pay by cash, you’ll need to swap your money for a voucher you can use online. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to any shop or garage that has a PayPoint machine – keep an eye out for the PayPoint logo or click here to find your nearest retailer.
2. You’ll need to give the cashier the £9.95 fee, plus any money you want to load onto your card (this can be between £10 and £100). To make life easier, print off this barcode and hand it to the cashier with your money. You’ll get a 360money e-voucher in return with a unique code on it.
3. Apply online - simply select the PayPoint e-voucher payment option and type in your code.
