Helping you raise more for charity
When you take out a Virgin Charity Credit Card we’ll set up a Virgin Money Giving account for you (unless you already have one). Virgin Money Giving is a not-for-profit fundraising website where you can raise money for charity in just a couple of clicks.
You use your Virgin Money Giving account to donate your cash back to your chosen charities, to our default charity, or have it paid to you.
If you’re eligible, Gift Aid can also be reclaimed on your donation so even more goes to charity. Visit the Virgin Money Giving website to see if your charity is registered or read on to find out more.
0.8% cash back on everything you buy on your card
Every time you buy something with your card – in-store or online – you earn 0.8% cash back for your chosen charities. Check your charity is registered.
If you're eligible, Virgin Money Giving can also claim Gift Aid to increase your donation to 1%.
If you don’t have a Virgin Money Giving account, don’t worry, we’ll set one up for you. Then all you need to do is log in and choose a charity.
You can change your charity at any time or spread your donations around multiple charities.
If you don’t want to donate your cash back, that’s fine. You can choose to have it sent to you annually by cheque.†
Cash back terms & conditions apply (PDF, 310k).

If you’re a UK resident and taxpayer, Gift Aid can be added to your charity donation so your 0.8% cash back becomes 1%.
Gift Aid is tax relief on money donated to UK charities. It’s the Government’s way of helping people raise more for charity.
The Virgin Charity Credit Card is the first credit card where Gift Aid can be claimed when you donate cash back to charity.
When you’re logged in to your Virgin Money Giving account, you'll be asked to choose whether you want to give your cash back to a charity of your choice or have it paid to you. If you choose to donate to charity, we'll ask you to tick a declaration box if you want us to claim Gift Aid on your donations.
