The Crew

Erle Williams, a round-the-world veteran sailor is one of the three watch captains on board. Each watch captain will run a watch of 4 hours.

Veteran Americas Cup sailor Robbie Naismith will take on the role of sail trimmer on board, alongside Bob Wylie and Americas Cup sailor Mike Mottl.

Julien Cressant, and Joey Allen, both veteran Americas Cup sailors will be running the bow of Virgin Money.

Bill Erkelens is project manager of the Virgin Money yacht and will man the runners on board as well as the systems.

Round the world sailor, Nick Bice is boat captain of Virgin Money and will be responsible for the pit, together with Olympic sailor Anthony Nossiter and Americas Cup veteran Matthew Mason.

Andrew Henderson, a big boat rigging systems specialist will be mid-bowman on board Virgin Money and run the systems.

Philip Wehrheim has sailed with Alex Jackson on his previous boat and will be the main sheet assist on board.

Chris Higgins is assistant boat captain and crew member.

Other crew members on board include Matthew Pritzker, Chris and Cromwell Coulson and documentary film-maker Adam Boome.
