No Claims Discount Protection

If you've had car insurance in your name for a year or more and haven't made a claim, you can get a 'no claims discount' which reduces the cost of your cover. When you've got at least four years' no claims discount you can protect it.

It costs a little extra to add this to your cover but it means if you do have to make a claim, you can keep your no claims discount when you come to renew.

Legal Protection

If you’ve got Legal Protection and you’re injured in a road accident that’s not your fault, we’ll pay the legal costs (up to £50,000) to help a compensation claim for death or an injury. The policy covers any authorised drivers and passengers travelling with you at the time of the accident.

The policy also helps you recover losses not included in your insurance policy in the event of an accident - like your policy excess and hire car costs.

Breakdown Cover

We have teamed up with Green Flag Motoring Assistance to offer 24 hour a day rescue for just £69.30 a year.

With this extra cover, if you breakdown at home or when you are away from home, Green Flag will come to your assistance with one quick call.

You will get an hour's free labour on the spot, and if they can’t fix the problem there and then, they will either:

• Take your car to a garage for repair.
• Take you and your car home.
• Take you to your preferred destination.

You will also get a choice of a hire car for the completion of your journey (subject to availability) or the cost of alternative transport.
