Sponsoring the London Marathon
We’re incredibly proud at Virgin Money to be lead sponsor of the Virgin London Marathon – a race which has raised over £557.8 million for good causes since its beginnings in 1981.
We’ve now entered into the third year of our five-year sponsorship of the Marathon – with the aim of helping runners raise more than £250 million for charity in that time. Already we’re nearly halfway there, having helped runners raise a fantastic £102.4 million, of which £22.1 million has been achieved through Virgin Money Giving, the official fundraising website for the Virgin London Marathon.
