Virgin Money Lounges

A fresh start for high street banking

Our first Virgin Money Lounges are now open

Virgin has always been proud to shake things up. For decades we’ve gone into established areas of business and shown just how much better things can be.

Now it’s time for us to shake up banking. We're in the process of giving our high street branches the Virgin Money makeover, but in the meantime our Lounges give a little taster of what to expect.

Virgin Money Lounges are our way of showing just how different we want banking with Virgin Money to be. They’re designed as places where our customers can unwind and local community groups can meet – experiencing first-hand our ambition to make everyone better off. We're opening Lounges around the country, with the first Lounges now open in Norwich (10 Castle Street, Norwich NR2 1PD), Edinburgh (28 St Andrew Square, Edinburgh EH2 1AF) and Manchester (98 King Street, Manchester M2 4WU). We're also planning to open one in London soon – watch this space.

Become a Lounge member

If you're a customer of Virgin Money, you can become a Lounge member. All you have to do is register. Once this is done, we'll have your membership card waiting for you on your first visit to the Lounge.

Using the lounge - be our guest

Whether you want to drop in for a coffee and a snack, use one of our ATMs, check your finances or just read a newspaper, as a Virgin Money customer you'll be welcome in our Lounges.

Linger: unlike traditional banks, we want you to relax and enjoy spending time with us.

Refresh yourself: quench your thirst with our complimentary refreshments, including tea and coffee. And if you’re feeling peckish, there are pastries and fruit too.

Absorb: put your feet up, watch the news, browse one of our iPads, read a newspaper or flick through a magazine.

Kids need space too: kids are welcome. If you’d like to bring yours along, there’s a dedicated children’s area to keep them entertained while you have some downtime.

Run out of battery? Charge your mobile and you’ll be back in the loop in no time.

Need to get online: use our free Wi-Fi and check your emails.

Freshen up: drop by and use our members’ washroom and baby changing facilities when you’re out and about.

Part of the community:  we want to make a valued and meaningful contribution to the communities we’re in. Part of this is making our Lounges available to partners in the community for after-hours events like exhibitions, talks and book signings.

Doing your bit: if there’s a local cause that means a lot to you, you can request to use  the Lounge for fundraising events or meetings.
